Enrollment is Open — Join Active Adults and Athletes Building Real Core Stability

Your core probably doesn't need harder exercises. It needs a better system.

Core strength is not about doing more crunches and planks.

If you're an active adult, athlete, or someone tired of back pain, poor posture, or "core weakness" that never actually improves, this course teaches you the foundation most core workouts skip: Alignment, Breathing, and Control.

For $99, you'll get a structured 7-module progression based on the same developmental movement sequence I use with patients in the clinic — so you can stop guessing at random exercises and start building stability your body actually knows how to use.

5-Star Rating

"I was taught breathing techniques to help with lifting heavy weights, as well as corrective postural techniques. I continue to see a positive change in my activity level. The tools I have been given will help me for many years to come." — Brandy M.

5-Star Rating

"I was shocked to discover that I had absolutely NO PAIN following a recent competition in which I normally would have been left hating my lower back. Dr. Burr recommended exercises, breathing techniques and maneuvers that would help relieve my issues. I honestly didn't expect the improvement I experienced." — Casey J.

5-Star Rating

Let's Face It…

Most core training skips the foundation.

Random exercises don't create lasting results.

You can do planks, crunches, dead bugs, and bird dogs until your soul leaves your body. But if the exercise doesn't address how your body actually creates stability, the results usually don't stick.

Nobody taught you how your core works.

Most people were handed exercises, not a framework. So they keep trying to "strengthen their core" without understanding the principles: alignment, breathing, and control.

You're chasing symptoms instead of training the system.

Back pain, tightness, weakness, and poor posture are often the things you notice. But the missing piece is usually deeper: poor breathing mechanics and movement patterns your body adapted to.

Introducing

Core Strength + Stability Course

Solution #1

Follow a system, not a pile of exercises. The course takes you through a specific progression of breathing first, then controlling in the three planes of motion: sagittal, coronal, and transverse planes.

No random "core circuit of the day." There's an actual sequence.

Solution #2

Learn the framework behind real stability. You'll use the Core ABCs — Alignment, Breathing, and Control — so you understand what you're training and why it matters. Because doing exercises without understanding the foundation is basically IKEA furniture without the instructions.

Solution #3

Train the pattern, not the symptom. Instead of chasing tightness, weakness, or pain with isolated drills that focus on a body part, this course helps you train the entire system underneath it: breathing mechanics, pressure control, and developmental movement patterns your body can actually use.

Core Strength + Stability

Course Curriculum

Module 1: Introduction + Core ABCs

• Start with the Core ABCs framework — Alignment, Breathing, and Control — so the course has a clear map instead of feeling like another random exercise playlist.

• Take a quick 1-minute quiz and pre-course movement assessment so you can see where you're starting, not just guess.

• Walk away understanding what "core strength" actually means before doing more reps for the sake of reps. Revolutionary concept, I know.

Course Feature

Module 2: Feeling the Proper Breath

• Practice the difference between chest breathing, belly breathing, and full abdominal inflation so you can actually feel what proper pressure should feel like.

• Understand why breathing is not a warm-up trick — it's the foundation your core uses to create stability.

• Build the skill that everything else in the course depends on, because if you skip this step, the harder exercises usually just become prettier compensations.

Course Feature

Module 3: Core Training I — Sagittal Plane

• Use the Happy Baby position to train your ribs, pelvis, spine, breath, and core to work together in the first plane of movement.

• Understand why this developmental position comes before the "cooler" core exercises most people jump to too early.

• Start creating real core activation with feedback tools, progressions, and bonus upgrades that help your body feel the difference between bracing harder and controlling better.

Course Feature

Module 4: Core Training II + III — Coronal and Transverse Planes

• Progress into Oblique Sit, Side Plank, and Quadruped variations to train your core in side-to-side control, rotation control, and full-body coordination.

• Understand how your core actually functions in real life — not just lying on your back doing isolated drills forever.

• Finish with clear progressions, bonus upgrades, and a completion credential that shows you've built the foundation instead of just surviving a bunch of ab exercises.

Meet Your Instructor

I'm Dr. RJ Burr, sports rehab chiropractor, strength coach, and owner of REACH Rehab + Chiropractic Performance Center in Plymouth, MI. I'm also a Certified DNS Strength Coach (DNS-SC) and Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). And I treat athletes and active people dealing with musculoskeletal pain and injury.

And I've seen this same frustrating pattern over and over again.

People come into the clinic after doing everything they were "supposed" to do. PT. Exercises. Stretching. Core work. Maybe some chiropractic care. Maybe a few YouTube rabbit holes at 11:47 p.m. because apparently that's when we all become medical researchers.

But the results don't stick.

Not because they're lazy. Not because their body is broken. Usually, it's because they were handed exercises without a framework. They were told what to do, but not why it mattered or how it was supposed to feel.

This course came directly from the patterns I see every week in the clinic. Most people dealing with back pain, core weakness, poor posture, or recurring tightness are missing the same foundational skills: breathing mechanics, pressure control, and developmental movement patterns they were never actually taught.

And no, you don't need expensive ongoing treatment, a gym membership, or fancy equipment to start fixing this.

You need the right information, in the right order, applied consistently. Very boring. Extremely effective. Annoyingly not sexy.

My credentials matter because they shaped the system. But what matters more is whether this helps you understand your body and make progress you can actually feel.

That's the whole point of this course.

Not to make you dependent on me.

To help you not need me.

— Dr. RJ Burr

Who Is This Course For?

You've tried core workouts, PT exercises, stretching, or random YouTube routines… and nothing really seems to stick.

You might feel better for a little while, but the same back pain, tightness, posture issues, or "weak core" feeling keeps coming back like a bad sequel nobody asked for.

You don't just want to be told what exercises to do. You want to understand how your body creates stability, what you're supposed to feel, and why the order actually matters.

You train, lift, run, play sports, or just like being active — but something feels off.

You feel unstable, disconnected, or like your body has strength in pieces but not a system holding it all together.

What Categories Do We Focus On?

Building core stability from the ground up through Alignment, Breathing, and Control instead of jumping straight into harder ab exercises.

Improving breathing mechanics and pressure control so your ribs, pelvis, spine, and core stop acting like separate departments that refuse to answer emails.

Training foundational movement patterns that carry over to real life: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, running, reaching, rotating, and getting off the floor without making old-man noises.

Helping active adults and athletes create better control through the sagittal, coronal, and transverse planes so stability actually shows up when movement gets more demanding.

Giving people with recurring back pain, posture issues, stiffness, or "core weakness" a clear system to practice — not another random list of exercises to collect digital dust.

Who Is This Course NOT For?

This is not the course for someone looking for a quick six-pack plan, ab shred challenge, or "burn your core in 6 minutes" situation. If aesthetics are your only goal, there are approximately 9 billion fitness influencers ready to yell at you.

This is also not for someone who wants passive care, e.g., adjustments, massage, only.

The course is built for people who are willing to learn, practice, and take ownership of the basics — because the whole point is helping you become less dependent, not more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What fitness level is this course for?

This course is built for beginners through active adults and athletes who want to rebuild the foundation. The movements start basic on purpose — not because they're easy, but because most people skip the stuff their body actually needs first. If you can get on and off the floor safely, you can likely start here.

How long do I have access to the course?

You get lifetime access. That means you can go through it once, revisit sections later, or come back when life gets busy and your core routine mysteriously disappears into the same black hole as matching socks.

Can't I just find this on YouTube?

Yes, pieces of this exist online. The problem is not finding exercises — the internet has plenty of those, and somehow still no one agrees on what to do first. This course gives you the sequence, the Core ABCs framework, and the coaching details so you know what to feel, why it matters, and how to progress.

Do I need to see a chiropractor before starting?

Not necessarily. If you're dealing with mild stiffness, recurring tightness, poor posture, or you just want to build a better foundation, this course is a great place to start. If you have acute pain, severe pain, symptoms traveling down your leg, numbness, weakness, or anything that feels concerning, get evaluated first so you're not guessing.

How long does the course take to complete?

The course content drips out over about 4 weeks, but you can move at your own pace. Most sessions take about 20–30 minutes, 3–4 times per week. The goal is not to rush through it — it's to actually build the skill so your body knows what to do with it.
